Gus Poyet: “The players were outstanding [against Southampton].
“When people read nine changes maybe they were expecting a scrappy game.
“Even without creating too much in the first half, on the ball we were very, very good, organised, difficult to beat and breaking and pressing.
“I can use any player at any time, without any doubt.
“I’ve seen [great] performances in training this week from players who haven’t been playing but who played at the weekend.
“That shows what one game can do to the confidence of a player.
"I’ve got plenty of options and a good [couple of] days to decide.
"It’s going to be interesting to see who [plays] on Saturday.”
