Premier League sides look to be set to be able to earn even more sponsorship money.
In the fourth coming season, 2017/18 clubs in England’s top flight will now be able to wear sponsor branding on the sleeves of their match shirts.
The Premier League badge is current the only thing allowed on shirtsleeves, but this is set to change with club looking to sell the space on the match shirts.
It is suggested it could gain some clubs up to 10 million pounds extra per season.
Adrian Wright, CEO of Sporting Group International “It's the first time in EPL history the sleeve can be sold and hopefully it will be the first time that one brand has been seen on multiple shirts from potentially eight-10 clubs.”
