Falkenberg’s young forward, Jesper Karlsson is said to be being watched by Sunderland Scouts, keeping the Wearside connection with young Swedish talent going.
The Black Cats already signed young Swedes Joel Asoro and Oscar Krunell last season, having already made an impact in the club with at the time 17 year old Asoro making his first team debut.
Its reported in Sweden that the young forward is keen on signing for his home nation side Elfsborg, but has yet to have signed anything official.
Falkenborg’s chairman Lars-Eric Nilsson revealed that his player has decided that he’d like to move, but no official offers have been made, although there have been discussions with the forwards favoured club move.
