Italian side Lazio are said to be keeping an eye on two Sunderland players, according to the Italian media.
Sunderland midfielder Emmanuele Giaccherini, who struggled on Wearside for various reasons ultimately ending in him going on loan to Italian side Bologna. Giaccherini would replace Antonio Candreva who is said to be leaving Lazio in the fourth coming summer transfer window.
Fabio Borini being the other player reportedly on Lazio’s list, the Sunderland striker has been linked in the past to Lazio, when playing for Liverpool.
Giaccherini certainly is on his way out of Wearside, admitting that he wants to stay on at Italian side Bologna once the current loan deal is up, but Lazio could also be a temptation for him.
Borini on the other hand seems happy at Sunderland, and is a regular first team player, although it could also depend on what league Sunderland are actually playing in next season.
