Ricky Sbragia has today revealed that he is set to bring in Man City defender Tal Ben Haim, there are conflicting reports if the deal is a loan or permanent basis, regardless Haim will be a welcome figure at the Stadium of Light with the current defender crisis.

Ricky said, "The one we've done is Tal Ben Haim. I think he's going to be done some time today,"

"We need a defender and he's a very good defender, and I've worked with him previously so I know exactly what I'm getting."

"We're still looking at probably trying to get in a defender and we might know something later tonight but we'll just have to wait and see what happens."
