Sunderland have reached out to the fans to extend their football match experience by creating a Fanzone outside the stadium.
The club announced that it will be open for the first home game of the new season, three hours before kick-off and for an hour after the game.
It can be found on the South East corner of the Stadium of Light, attractions include a DJ, competitions, electronic games, mini pitch for the kids and a big screen showing match highlights as well as interviews.
Food and drink will be available along with a seating and covered area.
