Sunderland go for Nelson Valdez again?

Sunderland have been reported to of re-issued a bid to land Borussia Dortmund and Paraguay forward Nelson Valdez.

The striker was one of Paraguay's star players in the World Cup who was wanted by several clubs around Europe, but the 10 million price tag which Dortmund placed on the player put off most potential bidders.

But now it turns out that there is some sort of clause in the players contract which will allow him to be sold for around half the asking price.  This seems to have alerted Sunderland boss Steve Bruce, there is also heavy competition from an unnamed Dutch club.
