Striker On Brink Of Return

The Sunderland striker, who has been sidelined with a back injury since the beginning of November, has been included in the Reserves squad for their match against Aston Villa Reserves and if he comes through that game he could well be included in Mick McCarthy's squad that travel to St Andrew's to take on Steve Bruce's side on Saturday.
