Ex-Newcastle boss who is now managing Crystal Palace, Alan Pardew is 
quoted saying that he is ‘desperate’ to see his old club stay up in the Premier League fighting off relegation.
These words come before his side lost to Newcastle this afternoon, which also saw a terribly taken penalty saved which would have moved Palace level.
Interesting in the least to see that the win lifted Newcastle out of the bottom three, but had no effect on Crystal Palace.
