SAFC ready to end pursuit?

It’s been reported that Sunderland are ready to end their efforts in signing Frenchman Yann M’Vila from Russian side Rubin Kazan, unless wages demands are dropped.

M’Vila had an excellent season for Sunderland and was vital in the relegation battle, with manager Sam Allardyce wanting to make his expired loan deal a permeant contract.

If reports are correct, its M’Vila’s wage that’s the stumbling block, as Rubin Kazan are willing to off load the player, with the player himself also wanting out of Russia.

It’s thought that the player is earning over £100,000 a week at his current club, which Sunderland aren’t prepared to match.
