Sunderland are counting the injuries from the one all draw against Portsmouth, left winger Andy Reid who has already had a long spell out over the Christmas period due to a torn hamstring. Reid was noticeably suffering with his left leg during the Portsmouth game in which he had to be subbed off in the second half.
Sunderland have confirmed that the winger has torn his left hamstring again but it is not as serious as his previous injury, unfortunately though the Irishman will miss the forth coming Arsenal match.
