A newspaper has reported this week claim that Dutch full-back Van Aanholt is wanted by Crystal Palace, and will be available for a fee of 3 million. The defender had a shocking start to the season, but since arrival of Allardyce has been like a new player.
With Allardyce being linked to a summer move defender Joey O’Brien and if Sunderland do go down Van Aanholt may end up moving on.
