Unwanted striker, Steven Fletcher is a wanted man by a host of Championship clubs.
Sheffield Wednesday joined in the race to sign the Scottish international who wasn’t wanted by Sunderland and consequently has not had new contract offered.
It’s rumoured that the striker is in talks with recently relegated Norwich City, in a bit to bounce back to the premiership. It’s also reported that the Canaries are willing to pay him up to 30k a week for his services, which is backed up with the sale of Nathan Redmond to Southampton.
Fletcher had hoped he could have stayed at French side Marseille, but wasn’t offered a permanent deal when his loan contact expired.
