Newcastle should eat some humble pie!

Since Sunderland's fall from grace, the long suffering supporters of our club have found themselves under attack from Newcastle fans stating that we have poor support due to dwindling gates and I feel it's time to put those Geordies straight.

For a start, don't even attempt to say you have better support than us, as we we're OFFICALLY voted the best supporters in the country by the FA.

Newcastle supporters have not had endure the upset, dissapointment and shock in which we were relegated, that spanned over two years of poor football.

You may beleive that there are sections of our suppporters that are glory hunters due to the fact they're not going to matches since our relegation. This may be true, but we have no more of them than you do.

On your last home game of the season, there we're only 10,000 supporters at your ground when your team did their walk round the pitch. That is poor support! During you times in the first division you pulled crowds as little as 10,000. That is poor support!

So take your cheap shots, as they mean nothing.
