"Moussa is flying into Newcastle later today to begin talks with Sunderland," McKay told skysports.com.
"Sunderland watched him play for Senegal against Ivory Coast last week and he was outstanding in the game.
"Moussa is good enough to play in The Premiership, but he knows Sunderland are a big club and are looking to go places.
"He wants to go there and help them get back in The Premiership."
