One of Sunderland’s unwanted players Liam Bridcutt could end up staying on at Leeds United for the rest of the season.
The loan deal has been on the cards for weeks, before Bridcutt finally put pen to paper to make the switch to the Championship side, until the turn of the new year.
Leeds boss Evans has said that a clause in the deal with Sunderland which could extend the loan further, keeping the midfielder until the close of the Championship season.
Bridcutt looked to have been away for some weeks now, with a handful of lower league sides all interested in his services, Cardiff City and Reading where said to both have made inquiries.
The loanee will be available to play this weekend when Leeds are away to QPR.
