McCartney injury

Care taker Manager Ricky Sbragia revealed today that Sunderland left back George McCartney has under gone minor surgery today on BOTH feet, after being side lined for 6 six weeks. McCartney has only played a handful of games since his return from West Ham in August. Specialists advice that McCartney will not be expected back until the end of January 2009.
