"Steve Bruce said when we came off that we had deserved to win in normal time but I did not want any glorious failures after the way we had played.
"I told the boys to go on and finish the job in extra time and they did that.
"We have now got Sheffield United in the sixth round and obviously I would rather face them than Arsenal but it will still be a tough challenge.
"I think, however, they will have to re-route a few buses to go up north because I think most of them thought they were heading to Birmingham in the next round."
