"I thought until Spurs scored the match had 0-0 written all over it," McCarthy said after the match.
"We had been equally as good as them but the difference between the teams at the top and the teams at the bottom is when the ball is rolled across the penalty box they score.
"It's another point, Europe here we come! The more points we get the better, that's all I am interested in.
"The fans have been brilliant again. How many clubs would get an attendance like that considering our position?
