"It was scrappy, we've got three points and I'm thrilled with the win," he said after the 2-1 win over the struggling Dons.
"We had chance after chance and they had a couple of chances in the second half and with their pace up front they were going to catch us.
"I am full of admiration for the players. We have played better than that and been beaten. All I have been wanting is a scrappy win and I have got it."
