It would seem that after the joy and expectation of Michael Bridges re-signing for Sunderland, the Mackems are now unsure if Bridges can be make the grade.
In a recent voting poll, we asked Sunderland supporters "Will Michael Bridges be a success on Weasrside?". I expected it to be a clear yes, but the result don't indicate that. 55.6% of supporters said, yes, he would be a success, whilst 44.4% said he would not.
Personally, I beleive he will. When you've had the injuries Micky has, the confidence in his own ability must be a major factor. At 26 yrs old, Micky will still have those and it's a case of building confidense and getting games under his belt. Im beleive that if he scores one, the flood gates will open. This won't happen however, if Mick continues to play nine games without a goal Marcus.
