Preston are said to be looking for a new new keeper in the winter transfer window, as they claim Sunderland’s young keeper Jordan Pickford's future is uncertain on Wearside.
Sam Allardyce has been seen watching his keeper, currently on loan at Preston, it is rumoured that SAFC had an offer of £3 million from Spurs.
Although Pickford’s deal means he can’t be recalled by Sunderland until January. its unclear if Sunderland will want to hang on to the youngster or cash in.
Another option would be to sell current Sunderland 2nd choice keeper Vito Mannone, who was linked with a away move in the Summer transfer window. He could then be replaced by the highly rated Pickford, deputising under current first choice keeper Pantilimon.
