Sean Dyche has put his links to the Sunderland manager’s job down as paper talk, and hasn’t heard anything from the Wearside setup.
From before Dick Advocaat had actually left the job Sean Dyche was a favourite to be offered the job as the Black Cats boss. But in a recent interview where he was asked about his position, he responded saying that his focus is on his current job at Burley.
He didn’t seem too impressed with the papers for both linking him with the role while nothing was concrete, especially while he is the managerial role at Burley.
Dyche was also linked to the Sunderland job before Dick Advocaat signed a year extension to the role he has just left.
