The right-winger, today replaced by Luton Town's Carlos Edwards, has signed a permanent deal with Stoke City worth an initial £500k, potentially escalating to £650k depending on team and player performances.

Lawrence, the subject of a recent sex scandal, was signed from Mansfield Town in 2004 but left for Stoke City on loan after a fall out with new manager Roy Keane.
