Laws: Kavanagh on his way out

Kavanagh used a month on-loan at Hillsbrough to try and work his way into the Sunderland first-team squad. However, following an injury, it looks as if 'Kav' isn't up to the speed of the Premiership anymore and is therefore being targetted by a number of lower-league sides.

Laws revealed today: "I have spoken to Roy Keane about Kavanagh. There are other interested parties, and they're looking at it on a full-transfer basis.

"We just can't cater for that at the moment. Kav is on Premiership wages, and we just can't cope with that.

"Maybe we can look at it again in January if he's still available."
