Laslandes keen to make move permanent

Laslandes, whose stay at The Stadium of Light came to a premature end when he fell out with former boss Peter Reid, has scored three goals in five starts for the Corsican club since signing on a season-long loan deal and Bastia hope to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.

Laslandes admits he has no wish to return to Sunderland even though Reid has now left the Stadium of Light.

"I would not wish on anyone the humiliation, harassment and wounded pride that was inflicted on me at Sunderland," he said.

"I am happy again and enjoying my football - that's something I haven't done for a long, long time."
