The former-Manchester United and Villareal striker signed for Atletico Madrid in the summer, but believes he has unfinished business in the Premier League.
"I didn't have a lot of chances to shine in England."
After replacing Fernando Torres in Los Colchoneros' squad, the Uruguayan has netted 13 goals in 26 appearances - 3 more than he scored in 63 appearances for Manchester United.
"If a club gave me the chance to return to this championship, I'd think about it very seriously. I've loved living in this country," he said.
