"As a good Argentine, I have always wanted to play in the Spanish league," he told COM Radio.
"For me, it is a dream.
"I have spoken about Espanyol with [Javier] Saviola and Maxi [Rodriguez] and they have told me about the wonders of the club.
"Besides, playing in the Uefa Cup motivates me as well.
"The interest from Espanyol makes me very happy. I know that they have been speaking about me all week and that the problem is in the form of the payment."
"The best is a transfer as I finish my contract next season," he explained.
