Kilbane & Bellion fit for Birmingham clash

Kilbane has overcome the shoulder injury which forced him to miss the Republic of Ireland's game in Greece on Wednesday night and Bellion is back in business after a hip problem.

Winger Kilbane goes into the game on the back of a glowing tribute from his manager Howard Wilkinson: "One of the benefits from the Liverpool game was evidence that the fans' lingering feud with Kilbane is nearing an end. Hearing supporters sing his name was great, for players and staff alike," he said.

"We are delighted for him. The lad has been great since I came here and he's benefitted from the fact that everyone had a clean slate when I arrived at the club."

The Sunderland boss has added loan signing Mart Poom and Stephen Wright to the squad though the game as come a bit to early for Jason McAteer to make his comeback.

Sunderland (from): Macho, Poom, Wright, McCartney, Babb, Craddock, Proctor, Bellion, Kilbane, McCann, Gray, Phillips, Flo, Thirlwell, Kyle, Bjorklund, Thome, Stewart.
