Striker Kenwyne Jones has tonight signed for Stoke City, the deal is worth 8 million which will rise to 10 million with add-ons.
Rumours have been doing the rounds about a rift between Jones and Sunderland boss Steve Bruce, the Black Cats manager is said to have struggled to get the big striker motivated which has been noted on the pitch, which almost saw the striker sold in the January transfer window.
One thing is clear Steve Bruce needs to find a replacement, at the moment Sunderland have only two first team strikers and the possibility of Manchester United's Danny Welbeck coming in on loan, surely the youngest cannot be seen as the man to fill Jones boots.
