The Sunderland keeper lost his voice for the last twenty-minutes of Saturday's game against West Brom and so sits out the 2nd Round tie against the Robins at The Stadium of Light tonight.Kelvin lost his voice and couldn't call for the ball in the last 20 minutes.
"At first I dismissed it because it sounds like rubbish but it's a stonewall, genuine problem," manager Mick McCarthy told the clubs official website.
"Of course, he couldn't tell me afterwards, 'I've lost my voice', because he couldn't speak!"
