It's been rumoured that Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce is going to be named as one of the shortlisted contenders for the next England Manager's job.
The FA are due to start the interview process in the next week or so, and big Sam is said on the list of interviewees along with Bournemouth’s Eddie Howe and USA’s manager Jurgen Klinsmann.
If Sam was to get the job it would be a huge blow to Sunderland, but Allardyce has always indicated his desire to run the national side.
Sam was gutted to miss out on the post back in 2006, in which the FA decided to appoint Steve McClaren instead.
