It has been confirmed that the Republic of Ireland international suffered a clean break to the leg, rather than compound one, following a challenge from Sky Blues midfielder Youssef Safri during the 1-1 draw at Highfield Road.

"Colin is scheduled to go down to theatre this afternoon for his fracture to be dealt with," a spokesman for the club said on Wednesday morning.
