So the media have now decided to pick on our other central defender Younes Kaboul, several reports the majority of which are French based that are saying he is wanted by Watford. Some as far as saying that he’s been down to London for discussions.
Kaboul has been a key figure in the Sunderland side since joining from Spurs and regaining his full match fitness.
Watford are said to be offering the 30 year old a 3 year contract, but it’s difficult how Sunderland and David Moyes could let the defender go.
What makes it more doubtable is of the comments new Sunderland boss Moyes said with regards to Lamine Kone situation. Moyes is quoted "The big thing is, we are short of players, whether it be centre-halves or midfield players or full-backs, we are short. I won’t be letting anybody go who I think can contribute to the team.
