Flo has struggled to hold down a regular palce in the Sunderland side since joining from Rangers last August and has scored just four times in a disappointing season.
"I'm very positive about the future and I'm approaching next season with enthusiasm," Flo told The Journal.
"I'm quite happy to play in the Nationwide League in order to get Sunderland back where they belong and as long as I'm needed I will stay here.
"I don't know what the management or the board is thinking as far as I'm concerned. I know other players have an indication of what will happen to them in the summer but nobody has told me anything.
"I know they're in need of money and I know they have to offload some players, but it might not happen. Selling clubs cannot snap their fingers and just expect other teams to take their players."
