Flo may go

Sunderland's £7 million record signing from Glasgow Rangers last summer has hinted at a possible move abroad after failing to make an impact in his first season on Wearside.

Flo had originally said that he would like to stay and help Sunderland try to regain their place in the top-flight but has become concerned at the clubs intentions to sell their top stars: "It can be just as fun to play at the top of the First Division as it is at the bottom of the Premier," said the Norwegian international.

"But, the thing I am worried about is will we remain strong? The club are selling players to avoid a bigger loss.

"I would gladly play in Spain or Italy but no clubs have shown an interest."
