Flo departs

The Black Cats will receive an undisclosed six-figure fee for the player they signed from Glasgow Rangers a year ago for £6.75million after the Norwegian international agreed personal terms with newly-promoted Siena.

Sunderland boss Boss Mick McCarthy told the clubs official website: "Tore's a good lad but it has not happened for him here. Everyone wanted it to happen but it didn't.

"After 12 months was it going to happen? I don't know. We wish him and his family well and I hope things work out for him there."
