Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat has dropped a big hint that he could stay on at Sunderland after his current one season contract is up.
Dick said he wished he was 10 years younger, so he could have more time to sort out what he’s sees as a long term project at Sunderland! He went on to say that he couldn’t make a comment regarding his future due to his wife, as at 67 years old he should be at the point of winding down on his career. He loves this club, and can see that Sunderland chairman Ellis Short wants the best for the club, with the new signings over the summer.
Not being ready to commit just yet, he is quoted saying “We still have a year to go and hopefully we can make some small steps in that time. Let’s wait until the end, but I don’t rule it out, you never know!.”
