It’s heavily rumoured around news sites as well as social media that Spurs defender Younes Kaboul is currently on Wearside having a medical.
A deal between Spurs and Sunderland is said to be around the 3 million pounds mark, for the centre half. Kaboul has been out of making only 7 appearances for the London side last season, it’s thought Sunderland turned their attentions to the French international after a deal for Lombarets fell through.
Kaboul has been previously linked with Sunderland at the same time Steed Malbranque, Pascal Chimbonda and Teemu Tainio signed from Spurs in 2008, but infuriated fans but his agent Rudy Raba making quotes:
"Younes would not join Sunderland - even if there was an earthquake.”
"We've much more interesting options. No disrespect, but playing at Sunderland would not help his international career."
