Coach Kavanagh

Graham Kavanagh has today joined Carlisle United as a player coach, he originally joined Carlisle on loan in October 2008. He played 14 games for the Black Cats before he struggling to make Sunderland's first team after a series of injury's plagued the midfielder. He was signed by Roy Keane for £500,000 from Wigan Athletic, but has since seen loan spells at Sheffield Wednesday and Carlisle United, he will probably be best remembered for his outstanding performance against Leeds which seen Sunderland win 3-1. I'd like to wish Graham all the best for the future, and thank him on behalf of the Sunderland fans for his time and great service to our club.
