'Cadger' joins The Pilgrims

Anderson, 29, joined Sunderland from Aberdeen in the summer but has only managed to make 2 appearances for Roy Keane's side in that time. His Sunderland career has been hampered by an ankle injury.

Cadger, as he was affectionately known as to the Aberdeen fans, made over 300 appearances for The Dons between 1997 and 2007.
