Byfield For Proctor Swap Deal Completed

Byfield has joined The Black Cats on a season long contract and was registered in time to make his debut in the away game at Watford on Saturday.

"Darren's played well against us twice this season and will offer us blistering pace," manager Mick McCarthy told the clubs official website.

"I wouldn't bring him here if I didn't think he'd better our squad. He'll add to the competition."
