Lee Cattermole and Andrea Dossena were dismissed as Hull claimed a 1-0 win on Humberside in November, while Wes Brown saw red in the opening five minutes of Sunderland's 2-0 defeat at the Stadium of Light at the start of this month.
But, being positive ... the two sides have met on three previous occasions in the FA Cup, with Sunderland triumphing in all three games.
