It is said that the Blackburn have rejected loan moves from both Sunderland and Cardiff, as Gallagher is part of Hughes plans. Gallagher said.

I find this news a little odd to be honest. We have Stephen Elliott, Marcus Stewart, Michael Bridges, Chris Brown and Kevin Kyle on his way back from injury. We have better strikers on our books than blackburn, so I don't understand why Mick would make this move. I do feel however, that our lack of goals is due to Mick refusing to drop Marcus Stewart. I think Michael Bridges and Chris Brown both deserve their chance up front with Elliott.
