Brian Deane
Signed up!
Sunderland have captured Brian Deane on a free transfer from Leeds until the end of the season.

Mick McCarthy has landed the 37 yr-old to bolster his frontline options.

Sunderland already boast Michael Bridges, Marcus Stewart, Stephen Elliott and Chris Brown, but non of them offer the presence of Kevin Kyle. Something Deane can now offer until the season end.

The 37-year-old has played for Doncaster, Sheffield United (twice), Benfica, Middlesbrough, West Ham and Leeds (twice), making over 1000 appearances in a 19-year career.
