Veteran midfielder Bolo Zenden has admitted he’s away once his contract is up this summer, in a bid to find first team football.
Bolo was one of the best midfielders in the world having played for some of the best teams in the world, and although he has only scored a few goals for Sunderland in the last two seasons those goals have been important ones.
After being promised more first team action last season as the anchor to sign a season long extension, he can only feel let down by Steve Bruce’s team selection as more often enough he has found himself on the bench. Which the majority of Sunderland fans think such a great player use been utilized more than what he has been.
Bolo has also brought massive amount of experience to Sunderland’s very young team, being a very popular figure around the training ground.
Zenden believes that he still has much to offer a team playing in the premiership and will seek another club this summer who can proved more opportunities. One thing is for sure the Sunderland fans will be sad to see the back of Bolo Zenden, but wish him all the best, with memories of a dad dance that will go down in Wearside history
