Today's media are again making a joke out of Newcastle United football Club.
Radio 1 which is listened to by millions around the world are this morning quoted saying "Newcastle United are the laughing stock of football".
The Sun has compared the club being up for sale on the internet as a "humiliating ebay style auction", also that "fans all over the country are laughing at desperate owner Ashley's efforts to dump the failing Geordies."
Newcastle United's board released a statement putting the club up for sale, as from Monday owner Mike Ashley has put a £100 Million pound price tag on the championship club.
The Newcastle board have been inundated with offers for the club, as much as 10p as well as two Oasis tickets for tonight concert at the Stadium of Light.
