Alnwick had previously handed in a transfer request, under the belief that his first team opportunities would be limited. However the stopper withdrew his request after Quinns arrival and has now committed his long-term future to the Mackems.
The goalkeeper joins fellow first teamers Grant Leadbitter, Dean Whitehead, Liam Lawrence and Daryl Murphy who have also signed new contracts with the club.
