With Arca not getting a regular first team spot in the Middlesborough side it has been said that he is unhappy with sitting on the bench.

Arca has made no secret of how much he loves Sunderland, and has often been spotted attending home games at the SOL this season.

Arca would be welcomed with open arms by the SAFC faithful, and could fit straight into his favoured left-back position.

If these rumours are true, he will be coming in on loan with a future view of signing a permanent deal.
