Frustration

I always hate it when teams come to the Stadium of Light to try and frustrate us. Leaving aside such issues as sportsmanship and the spectacle of the game it is frustrating enough watching the lads play without having someone else trying to make it worse.

And frustrating is the perfect word for Saturday's display, specifically the first half. Now can someone explain to me why when I was late for the Plymouth game I managed to miss three goals, yet I arrive nice and early for Barnsley where I could have quite happily missed the entire first half. Typical eh?

Thinking right back to Stoke on Tuesday, which in my mind is as good as asking me what I got for my first birthday, Roy Keane said we had "a crazy five minutes". Ya know I really wish teams would start having a crazy five minutes again us for a change.

Again we took the lead, and again we threw it away. When are the lads gonna sort this out away from home? How much is it gonna affect our promotion hopes at the end of the season? Answers on a self addressed envelope.

But we're back on track now, in theory at least, but with some tough fixtures coming up it really is time for our lads to ditch the inconsistency. After Hull away, another team that are sure to try and frustrate us, we have Cardiff, Norwich, and Southampton. Our season could very well hang on how well we do in those three games.

Should we get good results against these teams then it sets us up really well going into December with that all important transfer window getting closer all the time.

Niall Quinn says buy a 10 game season ticket, I like the guy so much I almost did… Despite already owning a full season ticket. My first ever season ticket was one of those 10 game jobs, a Christmas present and right up there with my Scaletrix set as one of the best presents ever.

The best thing about them though is that you have a better chance of a fixed price season ticket next season if you own one already and a 10 game season ticket counts for this. If we get promoted and new season ticket holders have to pay double your laughing.

Aside from that we need to show Quinn full houses again, think of it as an installment on that big name signing in January…
